Castle of the Living Dead review

Posted : 11 months ago on 8 January 2023 04:09 (A review of Castle of the Living Dead)

Minor work for the immense Christopher Lee. Interesting film without being unforgettable. A promising scenario but lacking darkness. And beware of the misleading poster!

Un silencio de tumba review

Posted : 11 months ago on 8 January 2023 03:25 (A review of Un silencio de tumba)

Franco surprises with this pleasant and sober although anecdotal variation of "10 Little Nรจgres". Beautiful rendition of Montserrat Prous. And there's also Kali Hansa in it.

Coven review

Posted : 11 months ago on 8 January 2023 03:18 (A review of Coven)

Hypocrisy of the Inquisition. Bewitchment of the senses. When the false witches invoke the Devil, it is the Woman who Bewitches. And Dances.

Love and Death in the Garden of the Gods review

Posted : 11 months ago on 8 January 2023 03:13 (A review of Love and Death in the Garden of the Gods)

Not a giallo but an uninteresting little Italian bis with a very abstruse story. The always magnetic presence of Erika Blanc can do nothing about it.

Run Sweetheart Run review

Posted : 11 months ago on 8 January 2023 03:10 (A review of Run Sweetheart Run)

Another one of these new generation "horror movies" (youngsters...) candidates for buzz. It would still be necessary to know how to come up with a scenario worthy of the name which avoids recycling ad nauseum...I prefer when it's Forrest who runs...But...Ella Balinska is so attractive...

Beatriz review

Posted : 11 months ago on 8 January 2023 02:58 (A review of Beatriz)

Small rarity of the Spanish Bis of the 70's. Very recommendable film but which would have deserved a more inspired scenario. 6.5/10

Mr. Harrigan's Phone review

Posted : 11 months ago on 8 January 2023 02:53 (A review of Mr. Harrigan's Phone)

Fantastic sober that struggles to take off. A film without fuss that allows us to see veteran Donald Sutherland (87 years old!) again with pleasure.

Rape of Love review

Posted : 1 year ago on 24 November 2022 02:32 (A review of Rape of Love)

Calvary of rape against selfish bourgeoisie. Bruised feelings. Chaotic reconstruction. The flouted body must break the silence.

The Viking Women and the Sea Serpent review

Posted : 1 year ago on 24 November 2022 02:26 (A review of The Viking Women and the Sea Serpent)

The Vikings have their nanar and Corman is still the pope of the genre (but still alive!). By Odin, he didn't have Thor! Yes.
